Strategic Outsourcing Limited holds a 2-day Executive Management Retreat
While everyone agrees that the world cannot remain the same after the year of COVID, and while being grateful for still being in business this year they still must worry about the years after. To this effect, the Executive Team of Strategic Outsourcing Limited (SOL) held a 2-day management retreat on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 December 2020 to review the organisation’s performance in the outgoing year and develop the strategy to optimise year 2021.
The Retreat was focussed on how to deliver a high standard of service in Client management & Staff engagement, while there were also deliberations on how to explore new streams of income as a measure to fully adapt to live post-pandemic.
Dr. Femi Ogunlowo while addressing the team members at the start of the retreat said ‘we are glad to have made it through the storm of 2020. At this retreat we must ensure we agree on measures that would ensure we deliver our Corporate Objectives next year and for the many years to come. We must ensure we consistently keep our promise to our clients of giving them peace of mind’.
Participants at the Retreat were Dr. Femi Ogunlowo, Group Managing Director, Saheed Oyebola, Chief Finance Officer; Olufunke Akinloye, Group Head Marketing; Francesca Gabriel, Group Head Human Resources; Ugochukwu Ikpe, Head Digital Transformation; Tope Sadare, Head Sales; Peter Onyekpe Ag Chief Risk and Compliance Officer Ezeoke Chidinma, Company Secretary/LPEA.
All participants attested that it was a rigorous 2-day activity but was very impactful with tangible results.
‘These 2 days have been intensive, to the extent that we finished at midnight on one of the days, but I can unequivocally say it was worth it especially because it intensified team spirit’ said Peter
‘The fact that we clearly spelt out the goal of the retreat at the beginning and we ensured all our deliberations and agreements were checked against it made the session a winner for me; it was an effective and efficient use of time’ Olufunke said.
